Welcome to the Neighborhood Watch By using Trustif.ai, you agree to these terms. Basically: use the tool responsibly, don't use it for illegal stuff, and understand that AI detection is an estimation, not a courtroom verdict.

1. Understanding the Results (Disclaimer)

Trustif.ai uses advanced artificial intelligence to estimate if an image is real or fake.

Please treat our result as a "Second Opinion," not a scientific fact.

Like a weather forecast, we provide a probability (e.g., "90% chance of AI"). While we are highly accurate, false positives (flagging a real photo) and false negatives (missing a deepfake) can happen. You should not use this tool as the only reason to fire an employee, make a legal decision, or make a significant financial transaction.

2. Helping the Community (Your Data)

Unlike standard photo apps, Trustif.ai is a collective defense system. To make the tool better at spotting scams, we need to learn from the images you scan.

By scanning an image, you allow us to use it to train our AI models. This helps us recognize the latest deepfake techniques and protect other users from seeing the same fake image.

3. Acceptable Use

We built this to protect people. Don't use it to harm them. You agree not to:

Analyze illegal content (e.g., CSAM or non-consensual explicit imagery).
Reverse engineer our code or use bots to scrape our data.
Attempt to bypass our payment systems.

4. Payments & Refunds

We offer a free trial so you can prove the tool works before you pay. Once you subscribe, payments are non-refundable (unless required by local law), but you can cancel anytime.

5. Legal Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TRUSTIF.AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL TRUSTIF.AI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
