Technical details (file size, digital fingerprints).

If you subscribe, we collect your email to manage your account. Payment details are handled securely by Stripe; we never see your full credit card number.

3. How We Build the "Digital Shield" (Data Usage)

Why we keep images AI scams evolve every day. To keep you safe, our system needs to study the images you flag. Think of it like a flu shot—analyzing one virus helps us protect the entire community from it.

Trustif.ai retains images submitted for analysis for the specific purpose of training and improving our detection models.

We use this data to:

Deliver your immediate Real/Fake verdict.
Teach our AI to recognize new types of deepfakes.
Create a "Blocklist" of known viral scams so we can warn other users instantly.

3.1 Protecting Your Identity (Anonymization)

We are interested in patterns, not people. We employ automated systems to detect and scrub Personal Identifiable Information (PII)—like faces, names, and numbers—before images enter our long-term training set.

Please Note: While we strive for perfection, automated scrubbing is not 100% error-proof. We recommend against using this tool to analyze highly sensitive private documents (like medical records or banking screenshots).

4. Who Sees This Data?

We do not sell data. We share data only with the infrastructure providers necessary to run the service:

AI Partners: Google Cloud & xAI (who process the heavy math for image analysis).
Hosting: Railway & AWS (where our secure servers live).

You own your data. If you wish to delete your account or request a copy of your data, simply email us. We respect all GDPR and CCPA rights regardless of where you live.
